Knoxville Initiative
In August 2008, a group of pastors from several Knoxville churches invited DTS to offer graduate-level theological education in their area. With the desire to equip men and women with the tools to understand and communicate biblical and theological knowledge, we began offering pilot classes at the Knoxville Regional Center for Tusculum College in the fall of 2009. As this is an initiative, it is subject to ATS (Association of Theological Schools) approval.
New Student Orientation
All new students who began in the winter 2011, spring, summer or fall 2012 are required to attend new student orientation. The next orientation for Knoxville students will take place in August 2012 at the extension site (see location below).
Visit a Class, Meet a Prof
If you would like to get a first-hand look at what DTS has to offer, we suggest you visit one of our current classes. Simply select a course from the list below and give us a call at 800-DTS-WORD ext 3781 to let us know when you’d like to visit. We’ll make sure the prof knows you’re coming.
Day at DTS
Day at DTS is a special preview event for new and prospective students. Every spring, we bring a team of faculty and staff to Knoxville to give you a DTS experience and answer your questions. You’ll sit in on a class, eat lunch with our team, and get the low-down on the admissions process and Financial Aid. Check out all the details and dates and start planning ahead!
