Sabrina M. Hopson

Adjunct Professor of Educational Ministries and Leadership, Associate Registrar

BA, University of Virginia, 1978; MA, Dallas Theological Seminary, 2003; PhD, University of North Texas, 2007

Dr. Hopson has worked in Christian education for over 35 years and is an advocate for lifelong learning. She has served as a children’s ministry leader, family ministry and literacy director, Vacation Bible School coordinator, and Sunday school teacher. She especially likes mentoring women, young and old. She has served DTS students, faculty, and staff as a member of the Registrar’s Office team since 2004. Dr. Hopson has five grown children, a lovely daughter-in-law, and one grandson, who are her pride and joy. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, watching old westerns, Star Trek (series and all the movies), and NFL football. She is an avid and often frustrated Dallas Cowboys fan. She and her husband attend Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Garland, TX.
