DTS Honors Clyde Cook, President Emeritus of Biola
April 14, 2008
Missionary, educator, Biola President for 25 years (1982-2007), 2006 Dallas Theological Seminary Commencement speaker, faithful servant of God. These are just some of the many facets of Dr. Clyde Cook for which the Dallas Theological Seminary family will remember him and for which he will be missed by the body of Christ at large.
On behalf of the Dallas Seminary family, I would like to extend our deepest feelings of sympathy and genuine concern for Anna Belle, Laura, Craig, their family, and the Biola family on their loss. May God’s mercy sustain you and His peace be especially evident to you in these difficult days. Dr. Cook’s winsome wit and personal wisdom were always a refreshing encouragement for me personally whenever God would allow our lives to intersect. We will all miss him.
