Distance Degree Outline

The sample below shows how a student might complete the degree from a distance. The MA(BS) can be completed entirely online, or the student can come to Dallas or Houston for intensive courses over the summer and possibly winter sessions.

  1. At least 2 hours of electives must be selected from the Department of World Missions and Intercultural Studies. If CE105 or CE450 is not taken, at least 2 hours of electives must be selected from the Department of Christian Education.
  2. Students completing their degree by distance will need to coordinate the completion of their Spiritual Formation requirement with the Spiritual Formation and Leadership department.
