Three Degrees in Cross-Cultural Ministry
Master of Theology
Graduates of the four-year Th.M. program know God's Word intimately, can explain
it using the original languages, and can apply it to the problems people face
today. If you envision a ministry working in missions, communicating Scripture,
or building the national church, then the four-year Th.M. program will equip
you.
The Cross-cultural Ministries track gives you elective study in cultural
anthropology, mission strategy, world religion, and leadership development.
The Bible Translation track includes training in linguistics with the faculty
of the Summer Institute of Linguistics.
Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Ministries
The 62-hour M.A./CM preserves the Bible exposition and theology core of the Th.M. and includes missions track electives. Do you plan
to serve as a missionary doctor, schoolteacher, missions agency leader, or bivocational worker? This degree meets the requirements of most mission agencies, giving a solid foundation for taking God’s truth to the nations.
Master of Art in Biblical Exegesis and Linguistics
For a ministry in Bible translation, the M.A./BEL combines the expertise of Dallas Seminary and Wycliffe Bible Translators. Graduates of
the program will be quipped to translate the Scriptures accurately from the
original languages to the mother tongue of people groups who have no written
Bible.
