English Proficiency / TOEFL
International applicants whose native or birth language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English by submitting satisfactory Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores taken within two years of the date of application.
The minimum internet-based TOEFL score (iBT) is 85, with subscores of at least 22 in the speaking and listening sections, 20 in the writing/structure section, and 21 in the reading section.
The minimum score on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT) is 575, with subscores of at least 56 on each of its three sections. At least 4.5 is required for the TWE portion of the TOEFL (PBT).
