Thanks for taking time to find out more about what Dallas Theological Seminary has to offer! I am a current student here at DTS, working on completing a Master of Arts in Christian Education, with a dual concentration in Women’s and Children’s ministries. As I finish my own degree, I have the incredible privilege of helping people like you discover how DTS can help to equip you for a lifetime of ministry!
I have been amazed at what I have seen God do throughout the time I have been at DTS, and am excited at the thought of what could be in store for you. I have been deeply impacted by the high level of training integrated with the heart transforming dynamic of being servant focused. I would encourage you to take the opportunity to come and check it out for yourself!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time. I would love to help in any way I can!
What are your hobbies or outside interests?
Hiking, photography, music, traveling, reading
What made you decide to go to DTS?
DTS offered the opportunity to study every book of the Bible, and was one of the only seminaries I found that offered a degree in children’s ministry.
What do you do on your day off?
Relax by going for walks (since there is no place to hike here – walking comes in a close second!) and spend time relaxing with friends
What are your favorite foods?
Bagels, fruit, and anything involving Mexican food!
What is your favorite television show of all time?
The Cosby Show
What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
The opportunity to get to come along side people – to hear their dreams about serving the Lord, and then to help them figure out where they best fit into DTS
What is your favorite piece of literature?
I wish I could say I had one!
What is your favorite quote?
“Not my will but Thine be done.”
What is your favorite musical artist/group/genre of music?
Christian Music – Selah, Casting Crowns, Nicole Nordeman
What was your major in college?
Music (piano and flute)
Who is the person you admire most and why?
My mom – she is the best model of godliness I have ever had the privilege of witnessing up close
Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Abraham – his model of faith is incredibly challenging to me! He was willing to go wherever God wanted him to go without any explanation, he trusted God for decades to fulfill what He had promised, and He was willing to risk anything in obedience to God. What a legacy!
If you could have superhero powers, what would they be?
Flying!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Europe!
