Worked in Admissions since: December 2007

Welcome to DTS on-line! Our hope is that your on-line visit will provide you with the necessary information to help you take that next step toward submitting your application. Then again, if you are like me, there is always something encouraging about being able to talk to a live person about the Lord’s plan for your future in ministry. Whatever the case, Team Admissions is here to serve you!

My husband Joe is a student in the Th.M. program here at DTS. He can attest to the quality of teaching by the professors and the valuable knowledge an individual gains from attending one of the finest seminary institutions in the country.

So, as you continue to seek the Lord and pray for direction, allow us to do what we do best, which is to serve you in any way we can! I encourage you to pick up the phone and schedule an appointment to speak with an admissions counselor and take a campus tour.

What are your hobbies or outside interests?
I enjoy spending time with my husband watching a good movie, taking a long walk or playing basketball – even though it’s likely that Joe will win every game.

What do you do on your day off?
On our time off we work on materials for Saving Grace Ministries, an itinerant preaching ministry Joe began in January of 2005. The purpose of the ministry is to evangelize the lost and disciple the saved. “While it is not a novel concept, it is a biblical one.”

What are your favorite foods?
I’m not sure I have an absolute favorite, but I like anything having to do with seafood.

What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
The best part of working in the DTS admission office is the genuine team spirit among my colleagues. I think of Lindsey Bridges and Lynsey Corley as my wings, not only because they sit on each side of me but because they are always ready and willing to help.

What is your favorite piece of literature?
I enjoy children’s books. Among my favorites are The Little Engine That Could and the Curious George collection.

What was your major in college?
Communications

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
My favorite Bible character is Esther because she demonstrates a genuine love for people by placing their well being before her own.
