Welcome to the Howard G. Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership where we provide leadership training and development for seminary students as well as ministry and business leaders. My journeys led me from a being a veteran of the U.S. Army to serving as senior pastor at Grace Bible Church in College Station, TX, for 14 years.

In order to serve as a missionary, I left the pastorate and traveled with my wife to Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union to provide leadership training for pastors on the mission field. Today, in addition to my work at CCL, I continue to work in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia with Entrust (formerly BEE International), and I am an adjunct professor in D.Min studies at DTS.

My wife Gail and I have been married for more than forty years, and we have two grown children and six wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my wife, children, and grandkids, and serving as an elder in my church.

As the Executive Director for Cultural Engagement, I direct a number of initiatives, such as podcasts, conferences, and chapels, designed to touch on the connection between God and culture. I focus particularly on public square discussions about Jesus, the Bible, theology, and early Christianity.

Professionally, I have earned international recognition as a Humboldt Scholar, for my work in Luke-Acts, historical Jesus study, and biblical theology, as well as my work with messianic Jewish ministries. I am a New York Times best-selling author and have written over 30 books on biblical topics. I serve as editor-at-large for Christianity Today and am on the board of Chosen People Ministries and Wheaton College. In addition to working with various media shows and blogging regularly on culture and Scripture, I am an elder emeritus at Trinity Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas. I am married to Sally and we have three children and two grandchildren

Pam Cole

Administrator

BA in Elementary Education, North Texas State University, 1973. (I attended Baylor University and transferred to finish my degree when I married and moved to Dallas.)

Worked in CCL since: 1997

As the administrator of the department, I oversee the CCL budget along with all administrative duties in our department, as well as assist Dr. Andrew Seidel, and Dr. Darrell Bock. I also serve as the administrator for the LEAD program and Leader Board program. As part of the CCL team, I also play a supportive role in all events that we host.

After spending 25 years of life and marriage as a full-time stay-at-home mom, I joined the work force to help with financial obligations in educating our three children. Little did I know at the time that God had placed me in an incredible environment which used my giftedness and allowed me to serve Him in my day-to-day work responsibilities. I feel extremely honored to be a part of the team at CCL and DTS, and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership degree.

My husband Louis and I have been married for 40 years and attend First Baptist Church Dallas, where we raised all three of our children. They are all grown and married now and we have entered into the most wonderful phase of life where we are now known as Grammy and Papa to six precious grandchildren.

Events Manager

BS, Ministry and Spanish, Central Christian College, 2008;

Worked in CCLCE since: 2013

As the Events Manager at the CCLCE, I am able to serve ministry leaders by planning and hosting conferences, forums, retreats, and luncheons designed to encourage and equip. It is my prayer that your time with us would be refreshing, exhortative, and that you would look to CCLCE as a place of refuge and resource.

My husband, Travis, and I have both been students at DTS, each of us pursuing a Masters of Theology. He has received his diploma and currently serves the singles at Park Cities Baptist Church. I continue to pursue my ThM with a passion for fostering global theology and furthering international theological education. I love to travel, having studied in Italy, Mexico and most recently taught in Ethiopia. Ironically, I am also a homebody, loving to cook, craft and read.

Events Assistant

BBA, Finance, University of Georgia, 2010.

Worked in CCLCE since: 2012

As the Events Assistant, I partner with our staff to plan, market, and host events to prepare and equip ministry and business leaders. In addition to working for the Center for Christian Leadership, I am pursuing a MA in Christian Leadership.

Born and raised in Georgia, I graduated with a BBA in Banking and Finance and a Certificate in Personal and Organization Leadership from the University of Georgia. After working for several years for Chick-fil-A, an organization centered on servant leadership, I longed to grow more as a leader.

Leaving Georgia, I knew God was calling me out of my comfort zone to prepare and equip me to become a stronger leader for Him. This country music fan is thankful to currently reside in the Lone Star State and looks forward to all the Lord has planned.
