Our Vision

In concert with Dallas Theological Seminary, the Center for Christian Leadership pursues the study, practice, and development of effective Christian leadership in order to build leaders of integrity and impact. The CCL endeavors to become a premier resource center for Christian leadership development.

Our Role

The Center for Christian Leadership focuses explicitly on the areas of leadership and leadership development, serving as an innovative resource center for Christian leaders and organizations around the world.

  • Leadership Evaluation and Development (LEAD) is one of the most personalized and life-changing leadership development experiences, which Chuck Swindoll refers to as "the premier leadership development experience." 

  • The Leader Board is a one-year (5-session) leadership development experience for marketplace leaders.

  • Retreat for Wives of Men in Ministry is an annual retreat designed to encourage women who serve alongside their husbands in full-time ministry. Attendees experience two days of fun, fellowship, and relaxation at the Pine Cove Conference Center in Tyler, Texas.

  • Women's Leadership Conference, All about Influence, is an every-other-year event designed to provide women with the tools necessary to reach the world for Christ by the building up of His disciples. This powerful one-day event includes a compelling key-note speaker and a diverse scope of dynamic workshops that address current issues and equip women for maximum impact in their sphere of influence.

  • CCL Events and Conferences are held each semester and seek to address current theological issues and prepare and equip today’s Christian leaders. Topics include such subjects as postmodernism, focusing church ministry, resolving conflict biblically, creativity, youth ministry, and trends and traps in today’s theology.

  • The CCL Store is available for people to purchase past CCL conference recordings and resources. CD and DVD formats are available, and we feature the popular 12-CD set entitled Best of Prof which features 23 of the most powerful and influential messages given by “Prof” Howard Hendricks.

  • Spiritual Formation & Leadership (SFL) is designed to help current DTS students recognize and cooperate with God's formation work in their lives and to train students in the leadership roles critical to developing others. SFL consists of two programs, Spiritual Formation (Small Group Experience) & Servant Leadership (Internship Experience).
