Welcome to the Howard G. Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership where we provide leadership training and development for seminary students as well as ministry and business leaders. My journeys led me from a being a veteran of the U.S. Army to serving as senior pastor at Grace Bible Church in College Station, TX, for 14 year.
In order to serve as a missionary, I left the pastorate and traveled with my wife to Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union to provide leadership training for pastors on the mission field. Today, in addition to my work at CCL, I continue to work in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia with Entrust (formerly BEE International). and am an adjunct professor in D.Min studies at DTS.
My dear wife Gail and I have been married for more than forty years, and we have two grown children and six wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my wife, children, and grandkids, serving as an elder in my church, and watching 24.

B.A. in Elementary Education, North Texas State University, 1973. (I attended Baylor University and transferred to finish my degree when I married and moved to Dallas.)

As the administrator of the department, I oversee the CCL budget along with all administrative duties in our department, as well as assist Dr. Howard G. Hendricks and Dr. Andrew Seidel. I also serve as the administrator for the LEAD program and I assist Rob Sweet and Andy Seidel with the Leader Board program. As part of the CCL team, I also play a supportive role in all events that we host.
After spending 25 years of life and marriage as a full-time stay-at-home mom, I joined the work force to help with financial obligations in educating our three children. Little did I know at the time that God had placed me in an incredible environment which used my giftedness and allowed me to serve Him in my day-to-day work responsibilities. I feel extremely honored to be a part of the team at CCL and DTS.
My husband Louis and I have been married for 35 years and attend First Baptist Church Dallas, where we raised all three of our children. They are all grown now and we have entered into the most wonderful phase of life where we are now known as Grammy and Papa to four precious grandchildren.

Welcome to DTS! I serve as the Project Events Manager at the CCL, and it is such an honor to partner with you in ministry. I have the incredible blessing of getting to serve ministry leaders by planning and hosting conferences, forums, retreats, and luncheons designed to encourage and equip. It is my prayer that your time spent with us at the CCL would be refreshing and reenergizing and that you would look to CCL as a place of refuge and resource.
As a proud Texan and a native of Grapevine, I’m thrilled to be returning to Dallas after graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University. I married my beloved on December 28, 2008, and am proud to now be Mrs. Jason Stein. Jason began the Th.M. program here at DTS in January, and we are excited to have officially joined the DTS family of students.
My hobbies include painting, hiking, reading, arranging flowers, and playing with my adorable puppy, Truffles. I’m a self-proclaimed chocoholic, and baking for others is one of my favorite pastimes. I’m also an avid tea drinker, and I can be frequently found in tea rooms enjoying heart-to-heart conversations with my girlfriends or sipping Café Mochas with Jason at Starbucks.

Welcome to CCL! If you are registering for a conference or ordering one of our resources, I will probably have the pleasure of working with you. It is truly a privilege to be on a team that desire to equip leaders in ways that are both practical and innovative. I hope you find our resources and conferences helpful and encouraging in your ministry.
DTS has provided a place for me to learn and grow in my passions for communication and God’s Word. When I’m not studying, I enjoy music, friends, and spending time with my family.
We hope you find this site helpful and informative and consider it a joy to serve you!
