Facilities & Plant Operations Purpose
The staff within the Facilities & Plant Operations department at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) are truly uniquely gifted servants of Christ. They believe it is their ministry to provide services in custodial, maintenance, facility renewal, catering, event services, utilities management, construction, and leadership with environmental consideration in order to promote effective learning. Individually, we strive to exemplify the characteristics of godly-servant leaders and facilities management professionals. Colossians 3:23-24
Every DTS student, faculty, staff, volunteer, donor, and prayer warrior is led by the common mission "to glorify God by equipping godly-servant leaders for the proclamation of His word and the building up of the body of Christ world wide." Students that attend DTS come from over 52 nations, while online distance education is reaching increasingly more.
The seminary’s physical facilities touches each one of these individuals in one way or another by providing classrooms, offices, student meeting rooms, a computer center, online classes, housing, retail, libraries, utilities, historical heritage, to foster an environment for biblical learning and fellowship in Christ.
