The FPO Secretary is the point person that students, faculty, and staff can contact with any facility-related questions or concerns. It is through the secretary that vehicles can be reserved and work orders can be reported, along with any other campus-wide facility questions or concerns. After the problem is reported, the secretary will create a work-order and contact the appropriate staff person if immediate action is required.
Upon their entrance into the FPO office, the secretary is also primarily responsible for greeting students, visitors, and contractors and directing them to the appropriate staff person. The secretary is responsible for issuing those individuals keys, visitor badges, or vehicles based on their needs.
Other duties performed by the FPO secretary consist of maintaining and updating campus and event contractor insurance files, retrieving, printing, and distributing work orders, and a variety of other FPO administrative tasks.
