Dallas is one of the nation's leading medical and research institutions
with one of the top 10 U.S. medical schools.
Methodist Medical Center maintains one of the largest
transplant centers in the Southwest, with a nationally renowned kidney
transplant program.

area has one of the lowest costs of living among major urban areas
