What is the Center for Biblical Studies?

The DTS Center for Biblical Studies (CBS) is a lay institute of the Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). It serves to minister to adults in the Dallas / Fort Worth community who want to benefit from quality theological education but who do not desire or who are not in a position to afford the cost and work load of graduate school. CBS offers courses in Bible, theology, spiritual life and ministry skills, such courses being taught by senior seminary students or graduates of DTS. CBS courses generally run for five or ten consecutive Monday and Tuesday evenings in the fall, spring and summer semesters. Other one-day seminars are held on Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters. Classes meet on the DTS campus.
