DTS SETECA Extension

The Central American Theological Seminary in cooperation with DTS en español

The Certificate in Church Leadership is a new program offered for the first time by the Central American Theological Seminary (SETECA) in the metropolitan zone of Dallas Fort-Worth. SETECA has been serving the Hispanic world in the area of theological education for more than 87 years and is an interdenominational seminary with international influence: www.seteca.edu.

Identity & Work

The DTS Hispanic Society is made up of students, alumni, and professors who have an intense interest in the Spanish-speaking world. Not all are necessarily bilingual, but yet everyone has an innate interest and desire for “all things Spanish” which has been divinely implanted in us. The means by which we intend to communicate the LORD’s goodness we experience on a daily basis into the Spanish speaking world are through the fostering of community, the recruiting of students to DTS, prayer for the Spanish speaking world, ongoing communication with former alumni in Spanish-speaking contexts and attempting to set a DTS styled culture globally across the Spanish speaking countries.

The Certificate of Church Leadership offers biblical and practical training for men and women who serve in the local church “as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed” (2 Tim 2:15).

Modality: Mondays from 7-9:15p at Dallas Theological Seminary (3909 Swiss Ave, Dallas, TX).

Students who take seven of the eight classes will graduate with an official degree from SETECA.
