Graduation Applications for Spring 2009 graduates, and for Summer 2009 graduates who desire to participate in the Spring 2009 commencement ceremony, are available online under Forms and Information, in CampusNet. If you are planning to graduate in Spring or Summer 2009 and participate in Spring 2009 Commencement, your completed application is due December 1, 2008.

NOTE: Your graduation application is not complete until any/all church verification letters have been received.

After December 1, 2008, graduation dates for those students with incomplete applications will be moved to a later session.

Enter your student ID and password. Make sure your student page is set for "Fall 2008". On the left-vertical menu at the top of your student information page, select "Fall Chapel Attendance". In the box at the bottom of the screen, simply click "Yes" or "No" to indicate whether you have met your requirement, which equals to half of your total requirement. A confirmation screen will confirm your report, please wait for it before you close the browser.

Registration for the Winter 2008 and Spring 2009 sessions will run from October 13, 2008 to October 31, 2008. Students are encouraged to register for at least one course in each session you plan to attend, to avoid a $50.00 late registration fee. Schedule changes can be made, at no cost, up to the payment deadline which is Friday, November 14 by 4:00 PM for winter session and December 5th, 2008 at 4:00 PM for spring session.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to share thoughts, concerns, and ideas with those who presently practice "Mixed Ministry" as well as with fellow DTS students preparing for ministry. Event: Forum Lecture: Gordon Johnston on Classical Prophecy and Messianism

This is the first of two lectures this semester. Dr. Johnston will explore the the developments from Classical Hebrew prophecy to the rise of Messianism into the Second Temple Period. The second lecture, offered later this semester, will be presented by Dr. Darrell Bock picking up the trajectories of messianic expectation(s) in the Second Temple Period and tracing them through to the Gospels. These will be exciting lectures with open dialogue and question/answer prior to the close. **Free Pizza will be provided by The Forum** The Forum is the academic student organization on campus committed to advancing biblical and theological critical reflection and dialogue on campus. All auto decals have been passed out. If you did not receive one, please see Campus Police at the Kiosk.

Beginning on Thursday, 10/02/2008, the Campus Police will begin ticketing vehicles that do not display a valid parking decal on the front windshield, passenger side, lower corner. A valid decal is one that is good for the 2008-2009 school year.

The Irene S. Wischer Education Foundation is now accepting applications for scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year. Up to $10,000 is available per year for each recipient. Applicants must be US citizens, Texas residents for at least 12 consecutive months as of date of application, and have a need for financial assistance. General Info: Athletes in Action - 1 Day Volunteer Training

Since 1966 Athletes in Action has used sports teams to minister in 80 countries. This summer we are striving to send out 55 teams to compete, host clinics, and reach people with the life changing power of the Gospel. We need trained volunteers to provide leadership as Team Directors, Disciplers and Coaches on 2-3 week mission trips this summer. Many of our athletes have described their trip experience with Athletes in Action as the “best experience of their life.” If you are interested in being trained to lead a sport ministry team please visit our website and register for our upcoming training.

Fair & Rodeo Evangelism, Inc. sponsors an exhibit at the State Fair in Grand Place from September 26 thru October 19.

There is a need for volunteers to staff the exhibit in 3 four-hour shifts each day for all 24 days. Come as the Lord leads you and be a worker in God's harvest. There is a literature table in the Walvoord Student Center with information on how you can take part in this outreach. Free parking and free entrance into the fair grounds is explained in the literature for you.
