Current Openings

Houston Position: Female Telecounselor

Department: Houston
Hours: 15 hours per week; Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Available: Immediately
Salary: $10.75 per hour

Job Description: The TeleCounselor will call prospective students, provide information about DTS, answer questions, and provide general follow-up. The TeleCounselor will also participate in various Admissions events and meetings.

Job Duties:
  • Make contact with prospective students through a series of phone calls that supplement the letter process
  • Keep track of phone calls
  • Encourage prospective students to apply
  • Learn about DTS programs and Admissions policies
  • Answer questions from prospective students about DTS and degree programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements: The successful female applicant must possess good communication, relationship, and telephone skills. Must be a team player. Enthusiasm about DTS programs a must! Must have a Bachelor’s degree. Must be able to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and be available to assist with various departmental needs. Previous marketing experience and a positive personality are desirable. Faithfulness, dependability, and self motivation desired. At least a second year Th.M. student is preferred.
