Cowboy Cousin

My cowboy cousin’s a great guy, but don’t try to cheat him. He hired a couple of roustabouts to work a particularly busy cattle auction, only to have them try to jack up their price halfway through the day. “Boys,” my cousin said. “You picked the wrong man on the wrong day. Get out!” Psalm 2:12: “Give [the Lord] sincere homage! Otherwise he will be angry, and you will die because of your behavior, when his anger quickly ignites. How happy are all who take shelter in him!” (Psalm 2:12) When you signed on to work for the Lord, you made a commitment. I’d take it seriously. He does.
