Dad's Swift Justice
In our family you could count on swift, fair justice. My Dad was never angry for long, because he took care of the problem quickly. “Therefore, having laid aside falsehood, each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger. Do not give the devil an opportunity.” (Ephesians 4:25-27) When we’re angry over a sin in God’s family, we need to confront the offender quickly, and compassionately. Because if we wait, the devil won’t.
