Don't Put It Off

I have a feeling the great eighteenth-century preacher Jonathan Edwards didn’t nap much. He was only nineteen when he made a list of seventy resolutions to honor God with his life. In one of his most famous resolutions, he determined never to be lazy. “Resolved. Never to lose one moment of time, but improve it the most profitable way I possibly can.” Prov. 13:4 – The appetite of the sluggard craves but gets nothing; but the desire of the diligent will be abundantly satisfied. Choose one thing that you have been putting off and ask the Lord to help you get it done today.
