Gone in a Heartbeat
Back in 1901, people dreamed of driving faster and going further, but all they had for fuel was steam and weak batteries. Then, on January 10, the drilling derrick Spindletop erupted into a 150 foot fountain of black gold, and the Texas oil industry was born. The days of steam powered auto engines were gone in a heartbeat. Likewise, the law of Moses was superceded by the grace of God in Christ. “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17) Rest in God’s grace – it will take you places you could only dream of under the law.
