Khrushchev's "Admission"

Reg Grant on December 10, 2009 in DTS Devotional

During a heated exchange between Khrushchev and President Kennedy, Kennedy said to the premier, “Do you ever admit a mistake?” “Certainly I do,” Khrushchev replied. “In a speech before the twentieth Party Congress, I admitted all of Stalin’s mistakes.” It’s hard, but we must admit when we’ve done wrong. “[Y]ou say, ‘I have not done anything wrong; so the LORD cannot really be angry with me any more.’ But, watch out! I will bring down judgment on you because you say, ‘I have not committed any sin.’” Jeremiah 2:35) Remember: God cannot forgive what you do not confess. (Speaker Disclaimer)
