When we were boys, my friend David and I liked to go down to the river to fish or work on the treehouse. We like to brag that our treehouse has rested in the crook of that great oak for more than thirty years – through hurricanes, freezing rain and floods. It isn’t the construction that saved it, believe me. It’s the tree. “[God said], ‘My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.” (2Cor. 12:9) Remember, your strength is in the mighty arms that sustain you.
