Patton's Anger

General George Patton…one of the most decorated warriors in the history of the United States military. He was an angry man who took great pride in his military conquests. “I am a soldier,” he said. “I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight.” And yet our rank as soldiers of the cross is higher than the general’s if we control our anger. “Better to be slow to anger than to be a mighty warrior, and one who rules his temper is better than one who captures a city.” (Proverbs 16:32) Are you fighting anger today? The Lord can help you win the battle.
