Peparation in Darkness

The Christian writer, Fyodor Dostoevsky had been convicted and sentenced to death for taking part in antigovernment activities. Soon thereafter, he faced a firing squad and prepared to die, only to be reprieved at the last moment. It would be 12 more years before he would publish Crime and Punishment, and fourteen more before The Brothers Karamazov. “And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand, by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter. 5:6, 7) Be patient. God allows darkness to prepare you for the light.
