Repeat after Me...

Teaching has taught me the need for repetition and restatement. When we repeat something, we say it in the same way, exactly. Repetition aids memory. Restatement says the same thing in a different way. Restatement aids understanding. We need both if we want to remember and understand. “Again, however, pay very careful attention, lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren.” (Deuteronomy 4:9) Repeat what God has taught you. Then restate. So you and your kids will remember. (Speaker Disclaimer)
