John Bunyan, imprisoned for his faith, separated from his family, couldn’t be there to care for his children, including his blind daughter, Mary, whom he loved deeply. And yet, even though he lived in an overcrowded jail with a ration of a quarter loaf of bread a day, he remained a faithful provider for his family, by making thousands of long tagged shoelaces which he sold. “But if someone does not provide for his own, especially his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” (1 Timothy 5:8) Provide for your family. No excuses. Find a way.
