NASCAR race tracks must be extremely smooth. A small irregularity in a track can send a car that is racing along at 200 miles per hour careening out of control. The same is true in life. The faster you race through life, the more you need things to go smoothly so you don’t crash and burn. There are two solutions: A smooth road or lower speeds. I recommend slowing down. “It is vain for you to rise early, come home late, and work so hard for your food. Yes, he can provide for those whom he loves even when they sleep.” (Psalm 127:2) Slow down. Trust God. And watch out for potholes.
