Submissive Confidence

There’s a difference between instilling confidence in the Lord and breeding arrogance in our children. Arrogance is a me-first, attitude that says, “I’m so powerful, I don’t care what the world thinks. I’m above it all.” Confidence in the Lord reveals a calm assurance that springs from a surrender to Christ and His power. Confidence says, “He’s so powerful, I trust in Him. He’s above it all.” Proverbs 14:26: “In the fear of the LORD one has strong confidence, and it will be a refuge for his children.” Put your confidence in Him today, and watch your kids’ faith grow.
