Sustaining Grace

Reg Grant on March 28, 2009 in DTS Devotional

Ever wonder why God chose to carve the ten commandments in stone? Stone is heavy and hard to bear, just like the Old Testament law. But his grace is different. “I do not set aside God’s grace, because if righteousness could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing! . . . Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? Although you began with the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by human effort?” (Gal. 2:21) Quit striving in your own strength. Ask God for his Spirit, His grace to sustain you as you live for Him. (Speaker Disclaimer)
