The Changeless One

Washington Irving was born this day, in 1783. His book, Rip van Winkle, tells of a man who, after a twenty year nap, wakes to find the world a very different place, indeed. It doesn’t take twenty years for things to change today. The world's total yearly production of print, film, optical, and magnetic content would require more than 1.5 billion gigabytes of storage. Alvin Toffler’s “future shock” is here. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!” (Heb. 13:8) No matter how much the world changes around us, Jesus Christ remains consistent and true.
