The Hope of Deliverance

Ever beat up a bully? I did. One time. On our ranch, he ran and told his mother. I had no hope of outrunning her, so I hid in a cattle chute, until I heard – the crack of a bullwhip, and I took off with that crazy woman hot on my heels. Then I heard my dad’s voice. I ran to him and he took care of things. I wonder if King David felt something like that when he had to run from his enemies. “I desperately long for your deliverance. I find hope in your assuring word.” (Psalm 119:81) Listen for your heavenly Father’s voice, and run to him. He’ll take care of things. (Speaker Disclaimer)
