In Bermuda, many years ago, a Bible teacher got frustrated trying to explain the Ascension of Christ. So he brought his class to a hill where he launched a kite with the image of Jesus. When the string ran out, he cut it, the kite flew free, and children of Bermuda have flown kites on Good Friday ever since. “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking up into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you saw him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11) The good thing about kite’s leaving, is that they always come back. You just have to watch.
