John Wycliffe, the Morningstar of the Reformation, was a hunted man. Because he translated the Bible into English! One Pope issued five edicts against him. The Catholic Church in England tried him 3 times, and two Popes summoned him to Rome, but Wycliffe never went to Rome or to prison. “In God I trust, I am not afraid. What can mere men do to me? All day long they cause me trouble; they make a habit of plotting my demise. My enemies will turn back when I cry out to you for help.” (Psalm 56:4b – 6, 9) You follow the Lord, and let him take care of your enemies.
