Zealous for Good Works
John Wesley was, to say the least, zealous for good works of all kinds. Though he wasn’t trained as a doctor, he invented many cures for diseases he had, wrote a book on medicinal cures, and started clinics for the poor. “Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another. Do not lag in zeal, be enthusiastic in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, endure in suffering, persist in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints, pursue hospitality.” (Romans 12:10-13) Are you excited about serving the Lord? Does it show?
