Through the Valley
by Dawn Waters Baker
Description
This is my most recent painting, "Through the Valley." on Psalm 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou are with me..."
Can you see the skull in the rocks and the boney hand on the other side of the rocks?
That's my little daughter climbing into my husband's hands but supposed to be God's hands and us as His "sheep", His helpless children that need his protection and guidance.
He's cupping us up in his hand like a little bird. God painted pure blue (for his holiness and cleansing power), we are painted blue/grey/white to depict the colors of the sheep but also our nature as we are sinful and good at the same time.
