Welcome to Dallas Theological Seminary!

We're looking forward to the opportunity to officially welcome you into the "Dallas Family" and have planned a new student orientation event to help you succeed in your seminary studies. (This includes all new students from Winter 2009, Spring, Summer, And Fall 2010 semesters.)

Please join us for this important orientation from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 21. Your spouse is welcome, too. Our campus is located at North Point Ministries Office (not the church building), 3157 Royal Drive, Alpharetta, GA. A team from External Studies will be in Knoxville, TN, and Alpharetta, GA, this August to treat prospective students, current students, and alumni to coffee and to answer any questions they might have about DTS. We invite you join us.

Graduation Applications for Fall 2010 are available online under Forms and Information, in CampusNet. If you are planning to graduate in Fall 2010, your completed application is due August 1, 2010.  You will be eligible to participate in the Spring 2011 commencement ceremony.

NOTE: that your graduation application is not complete until any/all church verification letters have been received. After August 1, 2010, graduation dates for those students with incomplete applications will be moved to a later session. If you are receiving funds from a third party (not DTS related) to pay for all or a portion of your Fall semester and you know the funds will not arrive at DTS prior to the Fall payment deadline, please submit a copy of the award confirmation letter, email, etc. to the Bursar BEFORE August 6th. You are responsible to pay any remaining balance due after your third party support is subtracted from your Fall balance. The Payment Deadline for the Fall 2010 session is Friday, August 6, 2010 at 4:00pm in the DTS Business Office and 5:00pm online on CampusNet. You must pay any remaining balance through Fall 2010 before the payment deadline or you will be dropped from all of your Fall 2010 classes. All payments must be received (not postmarked) by Friday, August 6, 2010. Please refer to section E of the Fall 2010 registration packet regarding payment. 4) complete the steps.

As an Extension Student you are able to have access to faculty and guest speakers from all over the world. All Extension Students, whether full or part time who are enrolled in a degree or certificate program are required to listen to 10 chapels from the current semester (fall and spring semesters only) by downloading them from http://www.dts.edu/media/podcasts/.

Check out the subscribe link to have all chapels automatically downloaded to your iTunes. Chapels that are recorded and made available can usually be accessed 24 hours after the live presentation. Chapel reporting will be done twice during the semester by logging into the campus.dts.edu website.

At Dallas Theological Seminary the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff is of the utmost importance. To that end, there is a campus emergency notification system. This system will send you an email or text message in the event of an emergency on campus or an unscheduled closing or delay in opening due to inclement weather. Participation is voluntary but highly recommended. To register, log on to http://e2campus.com/my/dts/ and create an account. This system will be used only for emergency notices.
