Austin Extension Kerygma

The Gathering is a one-day leadership experience that will expose you to compelling ideas from eight proven ministry leaders and invite you to engage in innovative conversations about church ministry in a collaborative atmosphere.

Pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and anyone passionate about the big ideas currently shaping what goes on inside and outside of church doors are invited to attend.

Dr. Everett L. Worthington, Chair and Professor of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, is the speaker for this series of messages in chapel February 7-10, 2012. His series title is, "Christian Psychology, Virtue, and the Virtues." He will be available to meet with students and faculty for lunch, dinner, or afternoon appointments in (Todd 111) on Feb. 7-9. Contact Kayla Cole in the Academic Dean's office for an appointment.

As an Extension Student you are able to have access to faculty and guest speakers from all over the world. All Extension Students, whether full or part time who are enrolled in a degree or certificate program are required to listen to 10 chapels from the current semester (fall and spring semesters only) by downloading them from http://www.dts.edu/media/podcasts/.

Check out the subscribe link to have all chapels automatically downloaded to your iTunes. Chapels that are recorded and made available can usually be accessed 24 hours after the live presentation. Chapel reporting will be done twice during the semester by logging into the campus.dts.edu website.

Graduation Application Deadline Graduation Applications for Summer 2012 graduates, who will not participate in the Spring 2012 commencement ceremony are available online under Forms and Information, in CampusNet.

If you are planning to graduate Summer 2012 your completed application is due April 1, 2012. After April 1,2012, graduation dates for those students with incomplete applications will be moved to a later session.
