The Forum

Welcome to the Academic Ministries Forum of Dallas Theological Seminary (“The FORUM”).

Whether you plan on being a pastor, lay bible teacher, or professional academician, your academic work at and beyond seminary is a vital ministry. The purpose of our student group is to serve students who are in the academic ministry track, and those who are excited about the ministry of their academic work. We seek to accomplish this through:

• Promoting Academic Ministries specific needs, concerns and new ideas to the Student Council;
  
• Fostering increased interaction with the academic community through forums, lectures, round-tables and other venues;
  
• Providing a forum for members to share their own research, and writing;
  
• Providing a venue for those engaged in academic ministry to share ideas and fellowship in a collegial environment.
