Students with Disabilities
In accordance with Section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Dallas Theological Seminary will make reasonable accommodation to ensure equal opportunity and access for qualified students to applicable programs, services, activities, and facilities. Dallas Theological Seminary is a privately funded, non-profit, religious organization.
After acceptance, the student must request accommodation or auxiliary aids well in advance of need to the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities. Documentation of disability may be required if the disability is not evident. The department responsible for the services requested will coordinate with the appropriate seminary personnel and/or federal or state agency to ensure reasonable accommodations are made.
The Seminary assumes no responsibility for personal assistance necessary for independent functioning or for specialized medical care.
