June 2021 – (Dallas, Texas)—Dallas Theological Seminary welcomes incoming full-time faculty for the 2021-2022 academic year. Dr. Kevin Wong will join the Theological Studies department as an assistant professor. Originally from California, Dr. Wong, his wife, Sarah, and their three children moved to Dallas from Chicago. With his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology, Dr. Wong has a comprehensive background in philosophy and apologetics. He has been actively teaching philosophy and theology courses at both Wheaton College and Moody Bible Institute. DTS is honored to have Dr. Wong join its faculty line-up. Dr. George Hillman, Vice President for Academic Affairs states,

The Lord continues to move at DTS by bringing us such qualified faculty for this new season in our institution’s history. We’re grateful they’re joining us on our journey together to teach truth and love well.

Dr. Tim Robinson and Prof. Todd Agnew are no strangers to DTS. Dr. Robinson joined the DTS faculty in July 2020 and served last year in Northern Ireland. He and his family have transitioned back to Dallas, Texas, where he will continue to teach in the Pastoral Ministries department. Prof. Agnew has made his mark in the Media Arts and Worship department as an adjunct instructor focusing on music, ministry, and theology. DTS anticipates that impact to continue as he moves into a new role as a full-time instructor.

Dr. Yarbrough, DTS President, states,

We cannot be more excited to welcome these faculty members to Dallas Theological Seminary! We look forward to them adding great value in the classroom and beyond as we aim to fulfill our mission for generations to come.
