Greetings from Dallas! I must say everything truly is bigger in Texas! I love this city and all of its amenities. I also want to welcome you to DTS and the Team Admissions page! I am honored to be a part of this team as a telecounselor, and if there is anything that I can do to help you, please let me know. I am currently working on my MABC degree and the counseling coursework is exceptional here! One of my favorite things about studying at the DTS Dallas campus is the proximity to downtown Dallas. We are in the heart of the city and there is plenty to do off campus. My best advice to new students is to strike the right balance between work and play, because both are essential to your personal well-being. I would love to share any experiences that I have with you! Feel free to contact me at any time.

Seeing that I am an extrovert’s extrovert, I love diversity and meeting new people, and DTS has that! Whether we are talking about denominations, ethnicities, or any varying subcultures, DTS is a melting pot of diverse people. I love it, because my curiosity is always appeased meeting people from all over the world. Another aspect of DTS that I really appreciate is the depth of teaching and truth being poured out in every class that I take. I can sum up my time at DTS in one word: transformational. I hope that you would expect the same thing, should you decide to study with us!

Having moved from a small southern city in Mississippi to live in the big city and study at a school 400 miles away from home was an adjustment, but a worthy adventure! Walking by faith is never easy. But anything worth having comes with some level of sacrifice. Remember that! I’m reminded of how God has used Dallas Theological Seminary to radically transform my walk with Christ and help me read and study His Word in ways that I never imagined were possible.

What made you decide to go to DTS?
I decided to go to DTS because I had no other choice but to obey God. He is the author and finisher of my faith and I’m following the path He has laid out for me.

The Cosby Show, hands down, is my all-time favorite television show. It showed me what a cohesive family could look like and I aspired to be like the Huxtables.

I have always loved the X-Men. If I could be Storm and manipulate the weather to suit my needs, I would love that. Texas gets hot!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
If I could live anywhere in the world, I would live in the perfect will of God. It’s the safest place in the universe and His presence is with me, wherever I go. Besides that, I think Lagos, Nigeria would be a really cool spot to call home.
