Welcome to the DTS Admissions page! I am a current student in the ThM program and plan to graduate in 2019. I actually started out in the MACE program and loved it so much that I decided to pursue the ThM! If you feel that seminary is the right place for you, I would love to help you with the application process. Even if you are just starting to think about seminary, I would love to tell you about my experience here and all that DTS has to offer.

One of my favorite things about DTS is that we have a diverse group of students from different backgrounds and ministry involvement. Seminary is not just for pastors or missionaries but can be for anyone who wants to understand more about God’s mission and how to live that out in the world. Whether you currently work in ministry, desire to work in ministry, or want to minister to others in the professional world, DTS can equip you for what God has uniquely planned for your life.

I have truly cherished my time at DTS. I could never have imagined how much I would learn, both spiritually and academically. I thank God for the opportunity to study under amazing professors and alongside dedicated students who are seeking to live their lives for God’s glory. I hope to meet you and introduce you to this amazing place!

What are your hobbies or outside interests?
I love to travel! I love spending time outdoors and eating great food.

What made you decide to go to DTS?
I really grew in my Christian walk during college, and I had a strong desire to attend seminary. After college, I started working in student ministry and realized how much I didn’t know about the Bible! I knew DTS would not only help equip me for ministry but also expand my personal walk with God.

What do you do on your day off?
Hang out with my husband and two kids! We love to talk walks and eat ice cream.

What are your favorite foods?
I love Italian food, fajitas, and ANY dessert.

What is your favorite movie of all time?
I love Seinfeld and Homeland.

What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
I love meeting prospective students and talking with them about all that DTS has to offer. It’s so much fun to meet applicants from around the world and see how God is using them in their unique context!

What is your favorite piece of literature?
Of course, the Bible! I also love The Reason for God by Tim Keller and Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.

What is your favorite quote?
Ephesians 2:8-9—“For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast."

What is your favorite musical artist/group/genre of music?
I love a wide variety of music—country, jazz, Christian, alternative, etc. Mumford and Sons, Shane and Shane, and Chris Botti are a few of my favorites.

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
David, because he was always so real. He had ups and downs in his life, but he always pursued God and desired to know Him more. He knew how to praise God in the joyful times and how to mourn and repent in the struggles.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
The Italian Riviera – it’s absolutely beautiful!
