Chong-Ae Shah

Chong-Ae currently serves as an Associate Director of Internships at DTS. Her passion is helping people fulfill their purposes by maximizing their strengths, experiences and gifts. She brings various leadership experiences with her including ministry with women, retreats, Bible studies, missions, spiritual formation, and leadership development. She is a Gallup-Certified strengths coach, and founder of Strengths to Shine leadership coaching services.

Before entering full-time ministry, she held various executive leadership roles: Executive VP of International Justice Mission, Senior VP of Strategy, Innovation & Research of AARP Services, and Product & Brand Development Director at General Motors. She holds degrees in Applied Statistics and Chemical Engineering.

Her journey with DTS started in 2016 as a Spiritual Formation and Ministry Formation Fellow and earned her Christian Leadership degree from DTS in 2017. Upon graduating, she served as Assistant and Associate Director of DTS-DC. Chong-Ae is a Korean-American who resides in North Carolina with her husband, an Indian-American. She loves traveling and playing tennis.
