David Tarrant joined Dallas Theological Seminary in March 2022 and serves as the vice president for Business and Finance/CFO. He is responsible for all financial matters regarding budgets, audit, tax, investments, debt management, and general accounting services.

David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Toledo in Ohio and his MBA from Crown College in Minnesota. David’s background includes over 35 years with for profit companies (Whirlpool Corporation, Eaton Corporation, and Engage Technologies), as well as non-profit higher education organizations (Crown College, Northwest Nazarene University, and Belhaven University).

David and his wife, Maureen, have been married for 30 years and have four adult children—Ian, Evan, Owen, and Alissa. In the mid-1990s they spent time in Russia, working in the schools, hospitals, and orphanages, teaching Christian Ethics and Morality with the CoMission organization. They enjoy serving in their local church, traveling, and spending time with their family.
