Few students go to seminary wanting to become an administrator, and Dr. McKanna was no exception. But during his ThM studies, he discovered that administration is exactly what he’s wired to do. He now enjoys serving the Lord—and DTS students—through teaching others how to teach and guiding the seminary’s accreditation and academic assessment efforts. Dr. McKanna is also passionate about ministering in his local congregation, Centerpoint Church, where he serves as an elder and worship leader. He and his wife, Noel, have five children: Zoë, Noble, Wesley, Oliver, and Callum.
