Driven by the conviction that the Bible is God’s self-revelation to humanity and thus understandable, authoritative, and central to life and ministry, Dr. Keen is committed to equipping students for Christian ministry by enabling them to recognize the literary structure of a given book and the resulting impact on interpretation and application. Before coming to DTS, Dr. Keen taught at Ethnos360 Bible Institute for 20 years where he also served in a variety of leadership roles including Academic Dean and Director of Ethnos360 Bible Institute Online. He is an ordained minister and has served in a number of pastorates during his years of academic ministry. Dr. Keen is married to his best friend, April, and they have three children. The Keens love hiking, bluegrass music, Appalachia, and the fellowship of the saints.
