An Evening with Dr. Dyer

The Office of Academic Affairs and DTS Bookstore are excited to host Dr. John Dyer, DTS vice president of enrollment services and educational technologies and professor of theological studies, to talk about his books From the Garden to the Screen and People of the Screen. These books ask the question, “What happens when we read the Bible on our phones?” and expands outward to tell the story of Bible software creation, the unique role evangelical entrepreneurs and coders have played in it, and how it affects the way we read scripture.

Join us Thursday, May 25th from 6:30-8:00PM for an evening of snacks, learning and fellowship at the Dallas Theological Seminary Bookstore (4005 Swiss Ave, Dallas, TX 75204). Parking available in the E1 lot.
