Nobodys Mother Sandra Glahn events.dts .edu version

You’re Invited! The Office of Academic Affairs and DTS Bookstore are excited to host Dr. Sandra Glahn, author, speaker, and DTS Professor of Media Arts and Worship to promote her latest book Nobody’s Mother. This book challenges the traditional view that a woman’s highest calling is bearing and raising children. Glahn argues that the key to interpreting “saved through childbearing” (1 Tim 2:15) lies in understanding the historical context, which can provide a better understanding of the type of radical and inclusive fellowship intended by the New Testament writers. This book lays a biblical foundation for men and women serving side by side in the church. Join us Thursday, October 26th from 6:30-8:00PM for an evening of fellowship, food, and learning at the Dallas Theological Seminary Bookstore (1140 Apple St – adjacent to Chafer Chapel).
